Dorset County Museum A large collection of prehistoric archaeology- view many of the artefacts from the South Dorset Ridgeway

CBA – The Council for British Archaeology is a national charity that is ‘working throughout the UK to involve people in archaeology and to promote the appreciation and care of the historic environment for the benefit of present and future generations’.  Here you can find information about excavations to get involved in, about recent discoveries and much more.

Young Archaeologist Club  A brilliant club for 8-16 year olds.  Branches have recently been set up in Poole and Dorchester.  Contact them directly to find out more about their activities.
